First Snow in Prague

Adventures in Prague

Last couple of days I have been in Prague. On Thursday the family I am staying with took me around several places of note: * Went to Bethelem Chapel where Jan Hus was the preacher before being burnt at the stake in Constance for preaching about the need for a reformation of the Catholic Church. * The Jewish quarter where Jews lived until the second world war and * The place where students demonstrated in 1989 on the 16th of July 1989 leading to the end of communist rule in the Czech Republic.
