An open-air cocktail bar with patio heaters in the winter (when we visited), on top of the U Princ hotel in the Old Town Square. Go at night, when the whole of Progue is lit up around you.  

The number of opportunities to hear live music in this city is really staggering. For some shmo's bday the other night we went out for some steak dinner and then meandered through the streets to this tiny jazz club. The club (really, a room) was small enough that the entertainers could (and did) easily...

Arrived in Prague today after a long train trip that included a fast train to Frankfurt and then a night train from there. The night train was ok except the guy I was with turned the heat off in the middle of the night. I was cold when I woke up.
