PSA - the City of Prague’s New Years 2006 fireworks display will be happening early this year.  

We arrived in Prague Friday 23rd December. It was about 10pm so we went for a short walk around the city. Our Hotel was about a 3 minute walk from the main square - Old Town Sqaure, very central (hence the name Central Hotel). It was very quiet for 2 days before Christmas. Saturday we woke up (no snow :-() and explored Prague. Went across the famous Charles Bridge and up to Prague Castle. Much busier today. Tonight we had a traditional Czech dish of ...  

I've been in the Czech Republic for 2 days now, and I just love this country! It's been snowing all day, the city is all decorated for Christmas, and it's just so beautiful.
