Great bustling atmosphere as good as you would expect in Paris or other more 'sophisticated' cities. OK, it may not be traditionally Czech but its a great place to go after a hard days sightseeing for a drink and something to eat. Clientele is approx 75% Czech, which is always a good sign. Prague is generally a safe city, and violent crime is low. But pickpockets are a problem. Watch out in particular for groups who operate on the 'yellow line' (line B) at Mustek and Narodni trida stations.  

The Czech language has been quite challenging. At first I thought I was doing pretty well but now I realize I really don8217t know the language at all. And barley any people here speak English since it was communist for so long they never taught English in schools.Today I went on an adventure to try and find...  

It is fascinating talking to people about what it used to be like when the country was communist and it is interesting to see how it still affects the city now. The low-cost carrier SkyEurope announced yesterday that they are adding Prague as a base of operations to their existing bases of Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw and Vienna/Bratislava.
