Human trafficking: the Czech Republic as a destination country

It's 11:00pm and I'm standing in the lower half of Prague's Vaclavske namesti, or Wenceslaus Square. It is quite a busy intersection as you can hear...and it's also one of the places in Prague with the highest rate of prostitution on offer, or illegal activity in general. In this week's Talking Point we'll have a look at what happens here with illegal migrants and sex workers.

This image was captured as I watched the sun set behind the Prague Castle this past summer. I went off to enjoy a wonderful orchestra in one of the churches in the center of town, then returned to this location to watch the sunset. I love it when these soft, yet intense pinks and blues meld together to form this gorgeous shade of lavender.

Czech Tongue Twister This is funny. You know the tongue twisters we have in English that go, "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck..." or "Peter Piper picked a peck..."? Here's a Czech analogue. Petra, one of my students, recorded this for me today. Czech Tongue Twister It means, "333 fire engines squirted...
