As a backpacker you quickly learn along the way that there is a big difference between a tourist and a traveller. A tourist always follows a guided tour flashing his camera at everything that moves. You can always spot a tourist from miles away wearing his money belt and backpack while looking at a map...

I just finished reading another book by Michal Viewegh, Účastníci zájezdu (Holiday Makers). It’s one of his earlier novels (he wrote it in 1996) and it turns out to be my second most favorite book by Viewegh so far. I have found this travel guide more useful than most, specifically the general pages rather than the listings, which could do with some extending.

It is nothing great to be robbed. The worse in foreign country. But now it is easy to solve the problem or more precisely to report the crime at police station.
