Mimraj 2006 - a festival celebrating Czech pantomime

Festival Mimraj 2006 starts today in Prague streets and will last with breaks and also with some travelling to other Czech towns until the very end of the year. The festival should celebrate the art of pantomime and mainly its modern aspects such as clown elements or the grotesque...

Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a French photographer who managed to take in the course of fifteen years one hundred thousand photos from a helicopter, moves his exhibition to Prague Kampa Island. The 120 giant photographs (each measuring 180 by 120 centimetres) show planet Earth from different perspectives and angles...

If you like white water sports, let me invite you to ICF Canoe and Kayak Slalom Racing World Championships. It takes place at Troja area (near the zoo) in Prague on 2.8.-6.8.06. I found this coincindetally as I live nearby and sometimes I go running along this slalom course. And there was too much activity...

today wasn't the fullest day we had a malvina lecture in the morning so it wasn't the most exciting... then about an hour and a half break in which we went to HM i bought a cute purplebrown striped tank for 7 and got some lunch. then we went back to school for a guest lecture. it was actually pretty...
