Today was the official last day of classes. We went to a cafe to eat and just chill for a while. We learned that everyone would be getting A's. A big joke on the trip is that we bought our A's that is we spent all the money to go on the trip to get auntomatic A's. We said goodbye to our teacher Malvina....  

It still applies that Czech economy is so-called cash economy. Credit cards are not accepted everywhere, one needs ’money in hands’ to pay. Although ATMs (in Czech called bankomat) are usually at every corner, it might happen that one needs to exchange the currency. In general, banks offer lower rates...  

today is my last full day in prague tomorrow my flight leaves at 1030 a.m. and i'll end up in st. louis at 930 p.m. except it's really going to be much longer than it sounds...since i'll be getting time back. and i'll have 34 hours layovers in the airports...by myself. should be interesting i'm not too...

The only festival of Celtic music and dance in Prague takes place at summer scene of Vysehrad tomorrow on Saturday 5th August. Between two o’clock in the afternoon and ten o’clock in the evening the visitors can look forward to hearing several hours of high quality Celtic music as performed by the best Czech interpreters...  

Cafe Imperial is a lovely cafe in Na Porici street which gained its fame not only because of the Art Nouveau decorations but also because of its doughnut battles. One of the items on the menu (available only to sober customers older than 21 years) was namely Saturnin’s Bowl... reaction to a plate of doughnuts... the most daring group takes the plate and “gives the doughnuts wings” for a while before the target is met...  

Prague airport offers a new service for all owners of mobile phones. It is now possible to get information about the arrival and departure of any flight through text message... This service is not the only modernization the airport prepared, though. Starting from September it will be also possible to use seven self-service machines for check in...  

Today was our last real day of class. We have to go to class tomorrow but it is more an informal get together and discussion.We had two lectures today one on the Roma Gypsy minority in the Czech Republic and one on Gender Issues. They were OK. We also had a visit to the National Museum in the afternoon. The...
