We were a little aprehensive as to what our flight over to PRAGUE would be like however we were pleasantly surprised. The SAS Dash8 was well maintained A. casting a critical eye over the outside of the engine cowls as we stood on the tarmac didn't appear to be too much oil dripping from them.......The pilots...  

Designblok is a display of world design which is held annually in Prague in the form of presentations and exhibitions in galleries and salesrooms. Designblok 2006 starts today and ends on 8th October. The main topic of this year is housing and home.  

Another possibility to borrow a book in Prague is to visit some foreign institute, for example Goethe-Institut in Masarykovo nabrezi or Institut Francais de Prague in Stepanska street.  

Jazz musicians from 11 countries will play in 10 concerts during eight days. The headliner of this year will be legendary organist from the USA Rhoda Scott who is on the programme on 2nd November. Among others we can hear Dutch Basily, Hungarian jazz chorus Djabe or jazz harmonica player Sugar Blue, an ex-teammate of Rolling Stones and Grammy winner.  

Last weekend I had a visit from abroad, two girls, first time Prague visitors. So we went on a walking and sightseeing tour.
