Prague in a new film about anti-Communist resistance
David Mrnka, U.S. film producer of Czech origin, is going to make a film about one of the symbols of resistance against Communism, Milada Horakova. She was arrested and, after a show trial, sentenced to death. She was, as the only woman, executed in 1950, even though many world personalities, such as Churchill or Einstein, petitioned for her life.
Itinerant exhibition of Werders' photographs
Leica Gallery continues with its successful itinerant exhibition in the train. This year it will present the photographs of film-maker, photographer and poet Wim Wenders and his wife, photographer Donata Wenders.
Irish celebrations of St Patrick in Prague
Irish Music Festival, which will commemorates Irish patron St Patrick, will offer a lot of Irish national music and dance, as well as Irish food, beer or coffee.
