Langweil model will be displayed again

Langweil model, one of the most popular items in the collection of the Museum of the City of Prague (Na Porici 52), will be displayed again from 11th April 2007.The model was made between 1826 and 1837 from cardboard and wood. The model is, in many cases, the only witness of how some parts of central Prague...

New gallery opens in Prague

A new gallery for contemporary Czech and foreign art was opened in Prague. It is called “Galerie 5. patro” (“Gallery 5th floor”) and it is situated in the attic of a house in Myslikova Street in the centre of the city.

Renowned Austrian photographer Gerhard Trumler introduced his new book about Prague at the Czech Embassy in Vienna yesterday. The book is called “Prag – Golem, Kafka, Svejk” and it was released in German and Czech version. You can see photographs from this book in the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague these days.
