This week we had a small class reunion to celebrate the start of summer 2007. We met at a tea house U Dvou Salku near Namesti Miru (Vinohrady). We arrived in the afternoon just to find out that this place is one hot spot. As some people from our group were still supposed to come, it was better to wait than...  


Large celebrations of Charles Bridge starts this Sunday

Only few days are left before the large celebration of the 650th anniversary of historical Charles Bridge that was founded by Charles IV on 9th July 1357 at 5:31. The municipal authorities have announced the programme of the celebrations, even though they won’t be so monumental and will take two days only.

Possible terrorist threats in Prague were negated

The American TV ABC News warned that besides Glasgow another target for terrorist attacks might be Czech airports or planes flying to/from Prague over the Atlantic. However, Czech intelligence services claim that they are not aware of any possible terrorist threads.
