Jazz Bridge Festival was held for the first time in the evening before the Czech Republic joined the EU. It became so successful that the festival is held this year for the fourth times, it’s called Jazz Bridge from Prague to EU 2007.

Travellers in Prague metro may be surprise today to hear different names of metro stations from the loudspeakers. The names of the stations are not chosen haphazardly, they come from the communist times when station were called Moskevska (from Russian city Moscow) – now Andel, Leninova – now Dejvicka, Gottwaldova – now Vysehrad etc.
