The National Museum in Prague prepares an exhibition showing one of the icons of the 1980’s in the former Czechoslovakia – cecka, which were small plastic letters, most commonly in the shape of letter C. Cecka were very difficult to obtain and collecting them became a great passion at that time.  

Prague’s cinema Svetozor, that shows mainly art movies, is going to be reconstructed. Even though a big part of the cost should be covered by the State Fund of the Czech Republic for the support of cinematography, the keepers want to get some money from private sponsors and donors.
